Mikuni Restaurant Group has opened Mikuni Kaizen at The Fountains at Roseville!!! | Food and Drink

Listen up sushi lovers!!!  With six locations in the Sacramento region, and many first place awards for Best Japanese and Best Sushi, Mikuni brings a new twist to its popular Japanese cuisine and fresh sushi to the open-air retail center, The Fountains at Roseville.

“Our vision of a new menu for this restaurant required a new name,” said Haru Sakata, Mikuni Chief Executive Officer. “We strive for kaizen, or continuous improvement, in our business in all aspects, so we called the new location Mikuni Kaizen.”

The cuisine is a fusion of favorite Mikuni recipes and brand new items featuring the quality fish and unique style available only at Mikuni innovative sushi bars. Mikuni master chefs are enhancing the menu with a more complex mix of Japanese dishes, a detour from the comfortable sushi rolls long enjoyed by loyal Mikuni fans. Traditional Mikuni maki rolls are available upon request, but the new line up of tapa-style dining presents guests with a myriad of choices new to the menu. Mikuni Kaizen greets you with a beautifully designed, one-of-a-kind sushi bar which holds symbols and significance to many people Mikuni honor who have helped shaped the Mikuni group of restaurants over the past twenty-four years. The walls feature artwork by Sacramento local urban performance artist, David Garibaldi, and metallic sculptures by the local creative talents of Terrance Martin.
